I heard Schumers reasoning for doing an about face and voting to pass the Republican CR budget bill. But he seems to be stalling a reckoning that eventually will have to happen. Stalling will only make the reckoning worse and uglier and in the interim many people being hurt.

This guy spews lie after lie and the cult eats it up. And damn everything is Biden’s fault. Damn in six weeks this country has gone to hell under Dumps supposed leadership. I forced myself to watch this mess and now I know why this country will be lucky to ever recover from this terrible divide.

Thirty six per cent of eligible voters did not vote in the 2024 election. Folks in other countries would die for the chance to express their opinion. We have the right to vote and more than a third of the electorate stays home. Sadly we get the government we deserve.

Mess with legit reporters, they will just work harder to expose the corruption that is occurring at a rapid rate. Eventually some GOP members will have to grow a set for the first time in their lives and stand with right, not wrong and corruption.

You’ll notice the place other than DC talked about the most for statehood is Puerto Rico, yet not a word from Trump about that place. The way he treated them after that devastating hurricane he knows the most he could get from them are a few unused rolls of paper towel. Certainly very few votes.

First I’ve heard of this. Hopefully Sen Smith’s info is incorrect. Otherwise as you say this has widespread impact across the country. One thing is paramount with this administration, get the billionaire tax cuts and everything else be damn. Once a proud American, now embarrassed and saddened.

I ‘m not as depressed today as I thought I would be because I kept the tv off and when I wasn’t working at golf course I was listening to radio. I will watch Daily Show tonight. My go to place for news and laughs.
