It never works for taxpayers

I have no idea what the point he is trying to make is. His journalism has always been some version of -trying to make a profound point without ever actually getting there.

My favourite is people who were in favour of the the bedroom tax but against the mansion tax. They couldn’t feel empathy for disabled people being chucked out of their homes, but people with multi million pound assets, they are the real victims.
