Yup. Well put. If the Garnett trade doesn’t happen, ironically they (nat media and non Bos NBa fans) would prob view and portray PP with more reverence. Kind of like McGrady. But since he won in green, he’s hated and disparaged. But he prob doesn’t get ESPN gig w/o the ring and hate.

Not to stray off main topic, but along those same lines, Pierce’s pre Garnett/Allen years are largely forgotten by hoops media and fans like tears in rain.
