It took a while, but I finally found two songs by The Sheets in my collection, on the compilation “Mit Sonnenschirmen fingen wir den Blütenzauber” (We caught the magic of blossoms with parasols ☺️), released in 1989 on the “Frischluft” label.

Thanks for the recognition. They came from Darmstadt, Germany, and are one of the better-known bands from a small german jangle pop scene in the mid-1980s 🤓

I just saw RFAHSB in Frankfurt and I completely agree. Peter Moréns excellent guitar-playing turned a good show into a very special one.
