Native American History Month is almost over. My wife and I watched Dark Winds on Netflix which covers Navaja Tribal Police Officers trying to solve mysterious crimes on and off the reservation.
While far from perfect, the show does make an attempt to accurately portray the culture and language.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 launches at 8 am Pacific. Will it be delayed? Are the CDNs ready for the many simultaneous downloads? Can the servers handle the load given it heavily uses cloud streaming of scenery data? We will find out!

Unrelated: my own cloud service gets announced today 🙃

I'm too cheap to buy myself new socks, but I'm buying a little girl a $300 synth for her 3rd birthday.

I'm excited for the girl, but I do feel a bit bad for the parents who will have to listen to it haha

Diablo 4 is like Diablo 3 (and 2) for the most part. And that's a good thing.

Is GraphQL a thing that people still use? Do people actually enjoy using it?

Is it suitable as a standardized query language across multiple document databases?

Thinking about using it in Dapr but unsure. I need a query language abstraction I can translate to multiple backend services.

I have used GitHub CoPilot X for several weeks and it's truly amazing.

I never found CoPilot as impressive (and I used it for over a year) - but interacting with CoPilot X via Chat in a context and project aware manner is extremely useful.

I'm a maintainer of a cloud native OSS project. I love advancing the project for the community and foster new contributors. However, I'm very tired of other maintainers blocking (review/merging) of new features that benefit the community, simply because it doesn't align with their own company goals.

As my first message on Blue Sky I'd like to share that my dog had diarrhea last night while I was out and 💩 all over the living room. Didn't sleep all night. My house smells like 💩 and I'm still cleaning. How's your Friday?
