Now let me turn around my messaging: the best way to stop the fascists is for the non-fascists in power to be competent. If non-fascists screw up, there's no stopping populist fascism. The latter won't make anyone's life better, but will ruin everything before the people realise their mistake.

Last time, when tens of millions were killed or murdered and the world was left in ruins, history recorded those who had a public platform and nonetheless opted to remain silent in face of the rise of fascism. This time it won't be any different. Let the record show I haven't remained silent.

A youth dream come true. I was finishing high-school when this came out, but the price was way above my most daring dreams of consumption. This machine was a market flop, but a triumph of pure design and computer engineering.
