Power is back!!! Of course, it was right after we had packed up food and we’re heading to Mom’s to cook. Happily home and all powered back up. 😁

No updates on power yet. Luckily town has power, so we are off to get pizza and charge phones.

Power went out this morning around 10. Still out with a restore time of 11pm Sunday. Trying to enjoy enjoy it and pretend it’s just a quiet weekend. So far the wind here in the Valley is strong, but still not worse than other storms.

Storm prep is all done. Tub is full, water bottles filled, no cook meals stocked, patio clear. At least it’s calm and beautiful out now.

I went to Canadian tire today…. Now I think I need a yard dragon.

After a full day of an audio book daze, I’m now into the book hangover.

Why did it take me so long to find the magic of audio books? Spent the day doing chores, cleaning, prepping for the week AND listening to The Poisoners Ring by @kelleyarmstrong.bsky.social I got so much done and was wonderfully distracted by a murder mystery.
