After waiting about an hour with no one saying anything other than things like “welcome back!” and other bs, I had to say something. It’s gonna be 48 hours and still no response. I’m not sure who I’m more disappointed in, the national guardsman, or the others in the group chat for their silence.

So on Friday afternoon one of my former coworkers who’s in the National Guard and black sent us-a group of coworkers ALL of us POC, but I’m the only Latino a quick little message below. Needless to say I wasn’t sure I was going to respond, and waited to see what others would say.
