Senior Level Designer at Mojang Studios. I like to dabble with a bit of everything.

I love boomer shooters, crunchy graphics, horror stuff, metal music, and 2d sketches and inks.
At some point they have to realize they might not be a creative person... right?

I feel like the greatest achievement made by the remakes is fleshing out the characters more without ruining them. Leon is still a massive dork.

Usually when people ask for directions I can't even tell where I am.

Thanks. I feel quite fortunate to avoid even the common cold for so long, but in typical Swedish fashion, I just have to complain about the minor stuff. :)

(Hope you feel better soon though)

You are a horrible person. But you did manage to evoke some emotions with this piece, which is the whole point with art, so I must begrudgingly congratulate you on a work well done.

I really like how the quake remasters were handled. Kept the style, just bumped the polycount of models, but also allowed players to deactivate all the modernized stuff and play vanilla if you want.

Just get rid of mouse accel and smoothing. That's the only thing I need. Don't fuck with the art!

I hear ya. I miss the old internet forums of yesteryear where content was mainly user driven. Nowadays, I mainly stick to a somewhat tight circle of accounts I follow and try to ignore whatever the algorithm is selling me.

Still a vastly better experience than the shit served on the blue bird app.

I follow a couple of artists who draw lots of nudes, so the algorithm started recommending more hard-core stuff. When I tried telling it off, it basically went: "Not into girls, eh? WHAT ABOUT HUGE FLOPPY DICKS!?" And now I haven't looked at the recommended tab in several months.

Cultist Base. Excellent choice. 👍

Immortality on a budget.

What concerns me the most is the atmosphere and writing quality. Those are my personal deal-breakers. Neither have proven to be particularly impressive from any of the trailers released thus far.

I suppose this is that AI psychosis thing I've been hearing about.
August 24, 2025 at 9:41 PM
The AI folks just don't seem to get that. It takes time to get good at certain things, and you're supposed to enjoy the process. Some people pick things up faster than others, but raw "natural talent" doesn't exist.

My first memory is from when I was 2 years old. I was lying on my belly in the kitchen and drawing circles on a stack of printer papers. It felt so good drawing those circles, seeing the ink slowly build up the shapes. It wasn't until my 20s before I started to actually put effort into improving.

I tried it with my coworkers and forgot what I was doing because, you know, it's a multiplayer game, and sometimes you lose focus when someone speaks up. Nothing to guide me and no ui indicators. Looked at my current objective, which read "complete the objective". Very descriptive and helpful.

I've also seen terms such as "friendfarming" and "friendmaxing" thrown around, which makes me think these people might be genuine sociopaths with no grasp of how even surface level relationships work.

It depends. I like feedback, but it seems like damage numbers have come to replace traditional feedback such as blood spurts and other particle effects and that I do not like.

I miss when goon was just another word for henchman and nothing else.

Sink taco sounds almost as great as shower orange, though.
