honestly wasn't expecting to like gunslinger girl as much as I did. up to the end of the pinocchio arc there's some great parts but after that arc it's very consistently fantastic

caught up on tower dungeon. it really is incredible how nihei's longer serials are each consistently noticeably worse than the last without being a total nosedive, but once you're four times removed from blame that sure adds up

I will forever miss a particular collection of magazines and editors that existed in the manga industry from the mid 90s to the early 10s and the series that brought but also I really gotta dive deep back into things and find the nooks where my sensibilities are still catered for
