Their eyes fully focused on their young girls, shrieking and giggling while stumbling over their own tiny feet; soles dirty and hair messy, carefree in a way only children ever seem to be. “Daddy?” Ivy shouts excitedly, her voice breaking through the calmness of their small bubble. “Daddy catch me!” Their oldest daughter running away as fast as her short little legs can carry her, floral dress billowing in the wind behind her, her laughter filling the air. Her younger sister tries to toddle behind her to the best of her abilities, young Jasmine barely knowing what’s going on, but more than excited to follow her older sibling without question. Neville chuckles into Pansy’s ear, one more affectionate kiss pressed to her temple, before he slowly jogs after them. Delighted squeals fill the air as he pretends to catch them, the three of them tumbling into a heap on the grass, small hands and knees climbing all over him. A contented smile spreads over Pansy’s lips, manicured fingers rubbing along her belly, their baby boy only a few weeks away from being born, of becoming the newest member of their growing family, already loved so deeply.
