Hmm.... I created a medlibs feed in the early days of BS, but I think this is beyond me! :)

Thanks for looking into it; these are the questions that folks using the product for research impact info will ask (or may not think about until it happens and causes problems with measuring their research impact). This is a great addition to Alt Metric, looking forward to promoting it!

Example: my article is cited in Guideline X in 2015. Guideline is updated in 2020, old guideline is removed from the org's website (never published as a journal article). Does my article still show that 2015 guideline "cite", or is it gone with the 2020 update?

Thanks! This does beg the larger question: if you're pulling guideline info from lots of different online sources, some/many orgs will pull their old guidelines when they're updated so practitioners don't use them. What happens to that data then? does it stay in AltMetric, or go away?

whoopsie, forgot image alt text: screenshot of Altmetric Explorer item "Podcast Extra: from climate lawyer to climate activist" showing the following Mentions: 60 X users, 2 Facebook pages, 3 Redditors (and no guidelines)

I might be doing something wrong, but your example doesn't currently show any guideline citations/mentions for this item? I've tried a few other known articles that are cited/mentioned in guidelines and they seem to be working ok...I don't trust, I try, and then if it doesn't work I ask what's up :)

And I start my reintegration with a typo.... Sigh. "The Bluesky side of things"

And thank YOU for your advocacy! And thanks to every medlib who filled out the feedback form :)

Oooh, good eye! I don't think it was an option when I first made it (or I didn't notice it :) ). I added the block to the feed and updated it, so we'll see how it works! Thank you!!!

Update: I used SkyFeed to create the custom feed, and there are limited options for how many posts it will show (and no option that I saw to display a true feed of all posts with the hashtag). If anyone knows how to do this, let me know and I'll make changes! #medlibs

When I made it, the longest option was for 24 hours (I have no idea why; and kind of useless that way?). I'll go in and see if they've updated the options, because it's been a while!

There may have been a few f-bombs yelled in my office during the editing of this trascript... :)
