I used to dance so at the end of the normal nostalgia train years ago, they had a thing where you could ride it back to the museum in Brooklyn and there was a swing party down there. Great times back then.

I never went rollerskating in the 80s but eventually got to in my late 30s. I don't believe we lived anywhere near a skating rink when I was a kid.

Did you know there is a museum of objects taken from the NYC garbage over the years? It is not open to the public, but if you are lucky they let a few people in sometimes. My girlfriend got these tickets, I don't remember how.
