I walked by 210 King E #Hamont today. The front door and some upper windows were open and work was going on inside. I inquired what was happening and was told that there are going to be apartments upstairs and commercial on the ground floor. Good to hear as this has been vacant for a long time.

This is what’s going on today at the site of the demolished Gore buildings in #HamOnt. They sat there decaying for a very long time until collapsing. Mere days later, some work is taking place on the ground. Surely they wouldn’t be allowed to create parking!

I hope I didn’t get too far ahead of things here. They had heavy equipment there when I first posted and were taking down a back building. Today, the heavy equipment is gone and the back building is gone. Hopefully returning soon to bring down the front. (Maybe went to Rebels Rock?)

Hopefully #HamOnt Council will vote in favour of option 1 next week.

This is at one #Hamont intersection. One truck blocking the sidewalk where it was unnecessary and the other could have understandably mounted the curb but didn’t. Strange thinking.
