That's nice that you value trans people. But will you be providing single-sex toilets for women? Just out of interest, why do you consider the protected characteristic of sex, worthless? Do you feel the protected characteristic of gender reassignment is more important?

I completely 110% believe in destigmatizing mental health illness. I used to work with people with MH issues. To me MH illness should be regarded as no different from a physical illness. I regard it as no different

Yet you refuse to support single-sex spaces for women.

Especially in the light of the current administration's attitude towards the Tate brothers with their pitch of an 'unrestricted maleness'

I agree, it is oversimplified. As your article says, it doesn't account for people with DSDs but I think saying we all started female is confusing. Perhaps it's more accurate
to say, from outward appearances, we all started undefinable and free of gender!

It's become more of an identity than a health issue which is why any talk about 'curing' or 'treating' gender dysphoria is regarded as an attack even if the aim is just to make someone feel better about themselves and their body

The mess began when transgenderism moved from being a mental health issue to an identity. The fight for that came from the stigma around MH diagnoses but it removed gender dysphoria from the medical realm to the social. I'm not going to cater for an 'identity'. A MH issue, that's different; no stigma

Is that so? I thought sex was determined at conception. What you're thinking of is when sexual differentiation starts to be observed as the fetus develops. www.pampers.co.uk/pregnancy/pr...
What Determines the Sex of a Baby? | Pampers UK
The sex of your baby is determined by the male chromosome at the time of conception. Read more about how this works.

Supporting wildlife? Not happy at the actions of Network Rail in Walthamstow along the Suffragette Line, here. They've just cut down every single tree on the embankment. We had jays, tits, magpies, woodpeckers; hedgehogs had been spotted in the summer. Can this be right? The last photo shows what was
