6) we shouldn't forget that there are a lot more knuckles vessels than just dave and julie. though these two are the most prominent ones in the story, i'd hesitate to make a generalization about all vessels, considering they all are different people with different histories (just in similar bodies).

a knuckles vessel hides in a factory with a wounded shoulder, as more knuckles vessels, hung on hooks, are fed into a meat grinder. a fang vessel is silhouetted against the orange walls, smiling. the trail of blood the escapee has left is imprinted in the fang's shadow. art by joedoughboi for exetober day 5, "you can't run."

3) the most evidence for this is kofuku assuming you like sonic when explaining why he’s blue. this can be explained as “why else would you play x’s game if you don’t like sonic?”, though obviously there are more factors at hand.
