Zohran is smart. He’s got more ideas than just making the buses free, but he knows if he didn’t put forward a very clear, simple idea, nobody would talk about transit at all. People on here are debating the merits of free bus policy as if he didn’t have anything else on his website:

I’m willing to bet Trump posted this before receiving an invitation, as a form of insurance. If the Vatican said he’s not invited, he could claim they were playing games. Without the tweet he’d be complaining about not being invited, and that looks weak.

What’s really sweet about these comments is that, as a kid, I really did enjoy making signs and imagining I’d become a sign maker, but when it was time to go to college computer science seemed a lot more practical.
