The #RoyalRoad Writathon has begun. 55,000 words in 35 days. I started my #LocalHeroes journey with the Writathon back in November. It's only fair that I jump onto this one and do another word count boost! It'll be roughly another 22 chapters added to the Local Heroes saga.

I'm on the Trending list on Royal Road! Also, did you know if you're signed in to Royal Road you won't see your own book on the list if it's Trending? I was pretty bewildered that I kept seeing links from the main trending list in my analytics, go to the list and see nothing. lol

Jabez marched up to the Red Caps’ table and picked the nearest one, a scruffy-looking youth who raised a mug of ale to his lips. With a casual smack of one thick hand, Jabez swatted the mug out of the youth’s hand. The clay mug shattered on the floor and left a puddle of ale on the floor stones.
