‘Just telling them’ frees up time for 6 or 7 further attempts. The stakes each time are kept low. Students learn - as if by magic.

2/8 High stakes assessment coupled with ‘one time coverage’ is terrible. Genuine sustained retrieval and practice works like ‘magic’!
