This is, also, the second poll with Greens on our highest ever poll rating, both coming within the last 8 polls - that period has also included (most recently before this one) a 16%, the only time Greens in this country have polled that number, and two on 15%, the previous record Green poll rating.

I've regularly come across "bike" being used to mean "motorbike" (eg "I like to go out on my bike", "watch out for bikes").
"Cycle", by contrast, never gets confused for "motorbike".

Would've been good 2 talk more/2 more ppl abt how those of us who use mobility aids need space to store & charge our mobility aids in our homes (& not face rules that ban us), but even with limited opportunities to do that, it was a really worthwhile day. #MyCycleMyMobilityAid #MyWheelsMyMobilityAid

It's not precise phrasing that was the problem. It's the racism that meant that she had thoughts along those lines she wanted to express.
In a way I'm glad though: it's a rare occasion when the mask comes down from RefUK to show what they're really like. *Remember, she was very carefully selected.*

If ur willing 2 get out & help the Green Party by delivering leaflets, please let me know - reply or send DM. If you're local, brilliant. If not, I'll try to put you in touch with local Greens where u r. Deliverin leaflets will be crucial way we convert surge in membership into more Greens elected.

Consultation at online1.snapsurveys.com/u1u1to. Pls answer "strongly disagree" to questions 5 & 7. (q5 "We are proposing...ABC&D...", q7 "Do you agree that every household...". Trying 2 make ppl in great poverty pay means pointless work 4 debt collectors, adds 2 misery & won’t raise £ for council).
Starting survey...

Well, that’s what I thought until I encountered this last night. #Lime @islington-council.bsky.social. That said, in the past I’ve often encountered the dropped kerbs at that junction equally blocked by motor vehicles.

My experience of the dockless hire cycles around the ground is that it _is_ improving from a nadir of impassible pavements, as they install more parking bays (on carriageway), but that more could be done by my club.

For those of us where hire cycles don't work (which includes many Disabled people), the thoughts are VERY welcome, though - the fact there is already security on-site can make all the difference, if adequate provision is made. #MyCycleMyMobilityAid #MyWheelsMyMobilityAid

One illustration of why lines like that increase danger to people cycling.
