Not under the illusion that being on here matters a lot. Once was a political and public interest communications pro. Now doing other content related things in technology.
Yes, that's true, although those examples you cite have training right? They've had some mentoring. They don't just come out of college and think they can intuit the broad range of adult experience via their intellect

Are you telling me that someone in their twenties doesn't have a lot of life experience as an adult yet? And therefore they are incapable of understanding politics as it really is, how voters think, since most voters are much older?

No fan of nuzzi or cradle robbers dudes, but there's def some ageism in this thread.

I'm enjoying this, love it when a self-Absorbed prejudiced ignoramus thinks that they can insult me. Please give me some more! How strange, when I encounter them that they always believe the same things and never seem to know why they never win.

You're a hypocrite who has thrown his lot in with bigots. Or, you're a fake account posing as an ally. Either way, it's no wonder your side never achieves any real power. But enjoy your big feelings. Much more fun than learning about what life and humanity and justice is actually all about.

Being only concerned about your own "ownership" does a disservice to all humans.
November 18, 2025 at 1:08 AM
Ok. In case you didn't realize, I don't agree with anything they say. Do you also realize that there is worse. Qatar for example, spends far more in politics and is linked to far more deaths worldwide than the IP conflict over 50 years. Yet nobody talks about the qatar lobby.

I guess you're only thinking about yourself and not thinking about the larger picture of how anti-Semitism is fomented.
November 18, 2025 at 12:28 AM
It's common, and definitely not acceptable. It's a form of anti-Semitism to imply the non-existence of the huge number of Jews worldwide who support a two-state solution.
November 18, 2025 at 12:25 AM
You can. But a lot of people can't do such policing. That's why conflating aipac with any of these: all of Israel, all Jews in the world, and with the mere existence of the Israeli state -- all of which is common, is deeply anti-semitic. You can see it. But the deception is deliberate.

The explanation for those new to this is that polls this far out are almost entirely what they call Name ID. In the absence of a campaign, respondents just choose who they know.
November 17, 2025 at 10:53 PM
Yes, I think you're right but I also think the number of votes spread out nationwide is insignificant. It could not have tipped a single state for example. Whereas an economic factor is universally applicable

Vance will not be any stronger than Quayle was
November 17, 2025 at 6:38 PM
In a close election, and 2024 was close, you can pick 10 different issues like rfk endorse, and any one could seem correct. But the overriding global factor of inflation is massively more important. This is really amateurish root cause punditry by some people.
November 17, 2025 at 6:36 PM
It was not even remotely as large of a factor as inflation globally. The data on this is immense, look at worldwide elections and incumbents
November 17, 2025 at 6:33 PM
Data pundits and major columnists, podcasters, etc, including most very famous ones, also do not understand the above.
November 17, 2025 at 6:31 PM
You are not correct.

Few people online seem to know how brutally hard it is to get majorities of people behind raising broad-based taxes. And then they also think taxing only the very wealthy heavily can cover everything. It helps, but it's a fraction.

Murphy constantly looks like he's trying too hard. Really the opposite of what you want in retail. Does he have any warmth at all in one-on-ones with people?
November 17, 2025 at 12:31 AM
These guys. Generalizing to an entire population and entire race? Hmmm

Thank you, Times. It's so sad what has happened to these wonderful, moral men. I do so hope the New York times continues to chronicle the lifestyles of this rarefied class. Surely they deserve to do whatever they want to do. Laws are for the little people.

Why don't we just teach everyone to love everyone. Love will conquer everything. It really will. This time it will. If we just use the right messaging and fight hard enough. For love.
November 16, 2025 at 7:24 PM
I think there's a strong chance that no one very online will expect this person.
