A wonderful White Pelican in full breeding plumage! Check out that cool keratin "horn" on its bill; both sexes grow one each breeding season. It falls off after eggs are laid. 🪶

Did you have an awkward teenage phase? It’s way worse for male Northern Elephant Seals. Instead of acne they get scars from constant fighting. The awkward brown fringe is the seal molting their fur coat.

Really proud of these photos I took of at Port View Park in West Oakland. Wanted to do something special for someone and I happened upon a family who were really excited to have free film photos. Was especially excited because of the amazing light that day.

Made a new piece of #art ! A linocut based on the best photo of Half Dome I ever took. Might carve out a little more to really bring out the half dome part but I really like it.

🦑Baby elephant seals in various predicaments and situations. Don't worry, the one that is stuck under an adult male only had bruises to their ego in the end.
