My personal problem w this is who or what do companies think would want to listen to these shows? Even if they were produced at a passable level? Like as a podcast listener ( of your show as well) I can say we all listen to shows for the unique personalities and relationships among hosts

Bad movies were intentionally played repeatedly and networks engineered scarcity of airing the good movies. Like you could only watch the good movie at prime time once a month, every other slot you were shit out of luck
