Tell you what tho, the 70,000 plus people who left for australia are definitely not going to concerts in NZ. Nor are all the people out of a job. Or the people barely making ends meet whose housing/food costs are taking up all their income. Or the people who are sick all the time.

2degrees recommends using power at night as a way to lower bills but they charge a regular p/kWh rate no matter what time of day. They said things use less power at night because Vector changes the rate at night.
