Really bummed I missed this but I’m now listening to the Sinatra album! It takes me ages to get into records but this seems like a good one Tim. If it grows as much as the wonderful DD then we’ll be happy in my house.

Did /should they sue? It’s like Breathe done on karaoke in an imagined episode of the US Office.

Look who’s talking! I’d wrap you all up with some chilli sauce and chow down!

Yea sure, no harm done just saying. I guess I just don’t like labels at the best of times. It’s Fugazi. I’d be annoyed by someone saying they listened to Nirvana in a grunge phase.

Not at all. There’s nothing wrong in celebrating somebody in the public eye who’s good at their job. Expecting the BBC or any media corporation to be consistent and honest is naive imo. Look at the coverage of the miners strike. Things are no worse now than in the 1980s at least.

Insult to Fugazi to call them Emo. No offence.

Writing up my PhD thesis nearly sent me to the loony bin/ grave and convinced me first that I did not wish to pursue academia and second I could not be a writer, something I’d dreamed of since a child. It’s a bizarre experience.

Wonderful stuff, fitting the event/album. No second takes? Didn’t know that, or about the stress, preparation or drum stuff. Always wondered about Kurt’s drug use and how he pulled it off. I guess some things can’t be explained about people who possess true genius.

Yea but Serious Drugs should have been number 1 too!

Is one of those Dune part 2 though? Not really a sequel…

All I would change is ‘the most long-lasting problem’.

So highlights this weekend. 1: Audiobooks debate - it is/isn’t reading (is won). 2: Libraries are great. 3: The Kendrick album bangs. 4: moon pics. 5: Everyone hates Elon/Trump. 6. This isn’t an echo chamber/ don’t care if it is.

Yea Crossroads by Jonathan Franzen, Thurston Moore’s wonderful book, currently reading Frankie Boyles novel before the new Murakami arrives. I try, it’s time. I wish I could read more. I’m a teacher with a kid so mostly I read in the holidays.
