As Micheal Holt wrote of the American Whig Party: "No Opposition Man Can Become a Mainstream Social Media Platform". If you want this place to be twitter you need to stop trying so hard to not be twitter, I think. Culture will not emerge from such a circlejerk, Twitter was awesome because it sucked.
