But the anime final got me to like their relation with each other more and made me appreciate this anime way more then 2 years ago.

Is it perfect? No, but it's great. At least a 9/10 from me.

BUT THE LAST ARC THOUGH.

I felt like it got everything right. Sure the animation isn't on the level of Re:Zero for example, but it still conveyed the emotions of Tachibana and especially Jinguuji. I've always liked the pair as friends or as a couple, doesnt matter to me.

She felt more insane in the manga and gave that squid village no mercy lmao. But while the anime did the exact same, it still felt different. Can't explain why that is, it just is. Not blaming anyone here, it's just my personal vibes and I can't put finger on it what it actually is.

The squid village arc had for example some of my favorite panels in the manga and I felt it didn't get the 'feel' of it right. Sure the same things happened and it followed the manga perfectly, but it just didn't feel right? For example the elf chieftain did the same stuff, but it felt different.

But the final arc was a whole other level.
I remembered that I stopped watching because I felt like it was following the manga too closely in some episodes. Nothing wrong with that, but having read the manga, I kinda lost the motivation to watch the rest.
