I’ve seen this in footage of Bananza and wondered if you could explain for me sorry whether it’s a specific choice of rendering, or an artefact of upscaling? This checkerboard almost net curtain effect you sometimes see on semi transparent materials. Screenshot taken from the Wild Hearts S demo.

@digitalfoundry.bsky.social a rendering query I have regarding this effect I’m seeing more and more in games. I refer to it as a “net curtain” effect where edges of your objects (sometimes intentionally transparent) have this mesh like edging around them. Is it rendered, or is it a DLSS artefact?
