You had better weather than when I was there

Installed in 2021. Don’t have house battery, but excess goes to Hot Water first then car charging with a Zappi, then export to grid. No gas usage over summer makes a big difference in costs.

I am amazed they made any profit at all

Lay knives on the top tray with blades up so the edges don’t blunt on the hard plastic. If you lay them the whole “falling on them” is a non issue. As a teen I used to do pot wash in a 800 check/day restaurant.

Oh Owllie come back and skool me when you have read and digested eIDAS and studied how ID can make life better for citizens, business and reduce fraud. Study Estonia, Sweden, Singapore. Don’t loose sight of the positive social outcomes because of techbro hatred - they don’t have to be involved.

Is this more for you about who is likely to be processing the data and where it is processed?
October 23, 2025 at 7:34 AM
They already have the data at DVLA, that’s how they issue it already. No new data! What is new is making it useful for us as citizens by putting it in a personal wallet. We can then consent to share that data to prove a question like “are you over 18”,“I don’t have any points on my driver license”

You are following the misconceptions that digital identity is (a) about more data than the gov already has and (b) it’s about surveillance which it is not.

Sorry who do? The only way to not have a digital id in Denmark is to have your doctor sign it off on medical grounds. They didn’t vote on it either. It follows on from the physical identity card scheme that, wait for it, they copied from the one uk had after WWII, but we then got ride of.

Of the top 10 happiest countries in the world all have Digital Id. It makes life easier. Let’s just get it done.

Wallets always make it clear what data is about to be shared and the user chooses to consent or not to the sharing.

Opening a bank account, prove you are over 18 when buying a kitchen knife on line. Electronic wallets which store the IDs always let you know what details are being presented and you consent to the information sharing. Other IDs in the wallet could be prove you are a qualified gas fitter etc

And you only get it from working age. My understanding is that in most EU countries your ID is born when you are.

Not unique though.
