Ahh yeah I think I see what you mean. It would be cool to see some of the lower level operations exposed in like the Blueprints interface like you're using in your original post-- so artists would be more likely to touch them instead of needing to learn code

In a way that'd basically just be storing hexcodes for each pixel, although you could theoretically convert the 32-bit packed colors into single-channel color information and store THAT as an image

What kind of tool do you imagine? Like exporting from something like Designer in a per-pixel, bitwise packed file? I don't know the specifics for how image formats are optimized, but I'd imagine that's gonna produce much larger files
