A humble suggestion: How about we work to make American health care affordable again? Right now, the focus is just the opposite.

I'm very proud of this. We worked hard these past three years to inform the community about the benefits of legalizing more housing choices, and to organize supporters to submit comments and testify at Public Hearings. Lots more to do, but today, we celebrate a massive win!
Standing ovation for @sustainstpaul.bsky.social
& their coalition for a massive pro-housing victory.

Not only is St. Paul's top-line policy good but they have the details of the policy on lock & should actually produce a lot of middle housing.

What a win!

We were so proud and thrilled to see the huge stream of pro-housing testimony for proposed zoning changes, both in-person at the city council today and in the written comments.

Thanks to everyone who's supported our work on this — we're making real progress!

Wanted to share my recent piece about the big problem of housing shortages, which encapsulates:
1) An aggregate shortage of housing everywhere
2) Localized shortages of housing in exclusive nhoods
3) Affordable shortages for our lowest-income neighbors
