January! Just the one long trip really but easily one of the more memorable ones of the year. A few stations which ironically are quite local to me, however ended up getting home 5 hours late due to some quite bad disruption 😂

Anyway, a great day yesterday in the Leeds area joined by @tomyorks.bsky.social , and finally completed my 2024 stations goal just in time.

On a rainy Monday at the start of September, it was my first day on the railway, heading to Basingstoke on the 0723.
Exactly 3 months on (stood in nearly the same place) it's onto a train 90mins earlier to head up north to start off my week of annual leave!

Good to see the SWR One Scan system rolling out more! Nice to see journey tracking, connecting bus/train information, disruption information for all TOCs, a journey planner and more accessible from one seatback QR code.

I've now got 8 minutes at Littlehampton to contemplate how I really shouldn't have got this train and got the train behind, which would have got me to Ford quicker and would have been closer to getting back on plan
Good thing I don't work in short notice planning... oh wait 😂
