Hi Mr. @jmdematteis.bsky.social I was rereading your and Mr. Zeck's 'Redemption' and I wanted to ask, if you were given the chance to go back to Kaine, what kind of plot would you work on about his classic era? I've thought of some plots about who was the first person he killed & it's effect on him

@chrisyost.bsky.social Hi Mr. Yost, in Kaine's fight with Kraven, Kraven is asking a man who doesn't want to kill him to kill him. Kaine in one hit stops Kraven's heart. Then he hits him with CPR, very confident that he will come back. Is that physical strength or technical know-how?

@chrisyost.bsky.social Well, we never got to see Peter as a father in canon and even though Aracely's lore isn't complete yet, I like the idea of Kaine being a father model for her :) Or being the big brother to her that he couldn't be to Ben. I like to look at it both ways

@chrisyost.bsky.social Who do you think are the characters that would complement Kaine at Marvel? We've already seen him with Wolverine and I'd like to see him again, other than that I think he'd make a pretty good duo with Bucky Barnes or Namor. Not as a buddy but with a lot of story potential.

@chrisyost.bsky.social I heard that Kaine will be appearing in the famous Spider-Man 1994 Animated Series's comic version and I'm really excited about it. I hope that the sales of this series will generate interest in Kaine's character and enable you to return!

You made a wonderful return to Ben Reilly, in 2022 after so many years and it was really crazy! Someday, I'd love to see this in Kaine :)
