This album was written over a crazy couple of years during which I become a father, started a PhD, travelled around the US and hit my 30s. It deals with the ways in which, although we feel like society is pulling us apart if you look a little closer we've got more in common than you might think.

who told about setting up the channel and how important British acts like Bowie and Duran Duran were in convincing American producers that music videos were the next big thing. Crazy to think given the ubiquity of YouTube and TikTok today.

In the second half of the book there's a thoughtful and salient conversation about web security, personal data, AI and social media.

And it's all narrated by Stephen Fry who is the perfect voice for the audiobook.

Most everything I've done in my life wouldn't have happened without the web. It was great to hear the story of how it developed, the geek reminders of dialup, AOL, Yahoo, coding in HTML, CSS and using FTP.

Why does BST Hyde Park continue to assume people will pay such ridiculous prices for a single ticket? And in the middle of a cost of living crisis! Think I'll go and see four smaller gigs instead.
