I make game music: FTL, Into the Breach, Subnautica 2, Below Zero, Generation Exile & others. I did not work on Subnautica 1. - Polyamorous, ADHD, love cool jackets and my cats. He/him
Surprise! I just released FTL - Lost Ship EP, a small collection of never before published FTL music, including live tracks, music that was cut from the game, and an expanded piece I made in 2025 based on one of the originals.

13 years ago today, FTL released on Steam and your support and enthusiasm for the game completely changed my life. It allowed me to quit my day job, focus on music full-time, and afford health insurance for me & my partner. I had wanted to work in games since I was a teenager. Thank you everyone!

I'm not sure if it was the first time I was scared in a game, but the earliest thing I remember really clearly was the child-stabbing-you-to-death jump scare in Last Half of Darkness.

When I was a kid I learned to code and make games on an old TRS-80 Pocket Computer and later a TI-83. The limitations and self-contained nature of the devices made game dev more fun and accessible than it otherwise would have been. I want to go back to that fun.

We're coming up on the tenth anniversary of my favorite solo project, horror album Dark Window. It's my weirdest, least approachable work that only ever sold about 600 copies, but it was some of the most fun I've had writing music.

I'm working on a small project where I'm recreating a very old piece of mine. Looking through my old files, I found what is likely my oldest piece of music and it STILL HAS A TIMESTAMP.
I'm reeling from the fact that I've been making music for 25 years.
