Played on the same bill as them at a birthday party in someone’s back garden in Boro. Weird night. There was a trampoline. Only time I’ve ever seen them live but they were brilliant. Massively underrated.

Agree. Tiredness clearly a factor, but 352 only works if you can consistently win aerial duels and bully the back two - as we did with Tosin and Badiashile. Konate and VVD a very different proposition. Gnonto and Aaronson linked up well - a big positive that we look comfortable playing both systems.

It really is - stunning record (particularly Girth Rides a (Horse)+). I love AWVFTS but for me, this and The Effective Disconnect represent their best work away from SOTL. Such a shame McBride's no longer with us.

For me it’s up there with Music for Airports and Stars of the Lid’s And Their Refinement of the Decline. First heard it as a narky little punk kid in the late 90s - completely changed how I thought and felt about electronic music.

It's great that he can take a corner and has Premier League experience, but there's no denying Wilson is an underwhelming signing.

Feel the same way about Aaronson as I do our Roomba: I'm rooting for it, I know it can do a job, but all to often I find myself making excuses for it when it needs rescuing. And though I'd never admit it because I sang its praises when we first got it, deep down I know it's a bit rubbish.

Most tripod mounts are 1/4 inch as standard. Should fit most tripods, unless it's for a bigger camera (even then you can buy converters).

Is that John Robb? At the other end of the sartorial spectrum, I remember playing with Goldblade years ago. He wore a gold jumpsuit and spent the entire gig with his fly down and a single errant bollock poking out. Good times.
