This piece gets a solid 117 out of 100 from me. Only *slightly* disappointing omission from the ‘game-within-the-game’ section is Jokic’s Quixotic and hilarious quest to earn three foul shots when getting fouled in the backcourt by instantly pretending he was shooting a 60+ft jumper.
Nikola Jokic is the smartest basketball player I’ve ever seen, so I spent most of this season working on a story that tries to explain every reason why:
