I’m a private client solicitor. I reckon in our team we have someone on the phone to HMRC pretty much every day, if not several times a day. It’s mainly “we sent you something ages ago, please will you respond to us” type calls.

Yes, exactly that - obviously will require careful structuring etc, but that is exactly what I imagine will start happening again.
