Our family bought our encyclopaedias from a door-to-door salesman which I believe was the most common way. Seems otherworldly now.

I think the plot is fatally flawed compared to other versions but it played out a bit silly for me as it was.

Yeah but Labor had years to propose this and now it just pops up in the eve of an election. It’s so cynical and they’ve been so lame in govt that we deserve that monster taking over.

I couldn’t stand the voice and the excruciatingly slow delivery of it. Absolutely ruined the film for me, well that and the ending.

The term Alpha came from the study of a Wolfpack organising itself at the zoo where there was a power struggle to be the leader. In the wild, wolves don’t have alphas, the packs are governed paternally/maternally. So it’s an invented construct based on a flawed study.
