I have plenty of criticisms though such as time related plot holes, predictable storyline, and unanswered questions. I feel like Tom is really saying the quiet part out loud though in this book which should make anyone feel really uneasy.

It's next on my to read list.

A lot of people are screaming "balloon" but I'm not so sure. I've read others claim this is a hellfire 9X which doesn't explode but the missile very clearly gets deflected on impact which should not happen with a balloon.

It's interesting. Looking forward to more analysis of it, like how fast it is going. There is definitely parallax distorting the speed. It appears to have the 4 smaller spheres affixed to it before getting hit. The debris is the smaller spheres separating.

I've always thought the immunity thing was really an odd condition to disclosure. We really have no idea what we are agreeing to ignore.

It is interesting/telling that apparently this doc pushes for broad immunity for everyone ever involved in the legacy program.
