Of course, I gave up on the “new” Elric books in the 90s when I was a 20-something Know-It-All With Opinions.
I should probably give them another shot and see if I like them better now.

I’ve reread the original books many times. Only ever managed the first couple of the “new” books once each. I don’t think I’ve even read the last two or three.
Those first six books are plenty for me.
