I did this recently, but with something different.

I made some digital comic book trade paperback covers

1 and 2 just required the titles adding and some small touch ups on the covers.

3 was just the character art and I added the target/scream

4 took the most work to clean up and redo.

I was rewriting this script and came across that first sentence and made the entire scene revolve around it.

This comes from the villain of the story.
FATHER DANIEL You talk about miracles happening enough, and people forget they even exist. (beat) Back then, a miracle was easy, simple. Now it's all explained away by handwaving and confirmation bias. Every other day we see or hear about a new 'miraculous' discovery. (beat) But they've never seen a miracle with their own eyes.

EXT. ADAMSTOWN, RIVER - MOMENTS LATER ROWAN climbs the last part of the river bank and quickly heads back towards the perimeter. SARA I always knew there was something wrong with you. Rowan freezes. She turns to see SARA stood behind a tree -- casual about this betrayal. ROWAN You don't know what you saw. SARA Yes I do. Sara takes a step forward. SARA (CONT'D) You just couldn't help yourself. You might be close to him, but you're not special. Rowan takes a step back -- closer to the steep edge of the river bank. Her hand on the pistol on her belt. SARA (CONT'D) You've been out of order since you got here. Sneaking off for cigarettes? ROWAN We all have our vices. No one but him is perfect. SARA Well, not even that's true. But... Sara pulls out the SMARTPHONE Rowan had hidden. SARA (CONT'D) A vice is one thing, this is something else entirely. She taps the screen -- the briefing video begins playing. ROWAN No. SARA Oh yeah, you're not only one who's snooping, you're just the only rat. (beat) Are you from the same government nest as the last one, or have we become important enough that we've shaken more branches of the New World Order you're creating out there? Rowan is now backed right to the edge of the bank -- Sara closes in on her. ROWAN I... I'm not... Rowan goes to pull out the pistol -- Sara grabs her hand. SARA Oh come on. Let's not play games. I know, you know; you know, I know; just end it and accept it's up. (beat) What would he think of this? Do you think this would please Young Adam? (recited) All seeing is he. He will bring peace. Rowan looks back down the bank. ROWAN No. She grabs Sara firmly. ROWAN (CONT'D) My son would not be happy that you are threatening his mother. Sara then realises all at once. SARA Mother Mary?! Rowan smiles -- then throws her weight backwards and hurling them both down the bank. She closes her eyes as the tumble. The two slam into the sharp incline and tumble down -- Rowan's grasp breaking after their first bounce. The two of them stop close to the water -- between them is the SMARTPHONE and the PISTOL. They both see the SMARTPHONE and PISTOL. They see each other. They both scramble and close the gap. Sara reaches for the PISTOL. Rowan tackles Sara backwards. Sara lands and kicks Rowan off of her. Rowan lands on all fours -- she's now in survival mode. Rowan leaps at Sara -- Sara fights back. The two fight in an undignified, dishonourable fashion -- the only thing mattering is survival, the PISTOL and the SMARTPHONE -- in that order. Nothing about the fight is cinematic or cool -- only painful and hard to watch. Sara grabs the PISTOl -- Rowan slaps it out of her hand. In the end Rowan gains the upper hand -- straddling Sara with her hands around Sara's neck. ROWAN He is all seeing, and he does see all. She leans down to Sara's ear -- whispering. ROWAN (CONT'D) He never mentioned you. Rowan comes back up -- looking at the defeat in Sara's eyes. She struggles agains the iron grip Rowan has on her neck. Rowan's hands keep pressing until suddenly -- CRACK. Sara lets out one last gasp. She goes limp. Rowan lets go of Sara's neck. She does nothing. Rowan gets up and steps away from the body. She looks at the lifeless body of the woman she'd just killed. The river running by. The grass and landscape surrounding them still and lifeless. Rowan crouches down and slowly -- laboriously rolls the body into the river.

The first page of a pilot called BEYOND REACH

ANNIHILATION x THE WICKER MAN horror about two respected fringe journalists investigating a woman's claim to see visions of a coming apocalypse.
Ext. ALVERY MAIN SQUARE - NIGHT FATHER DANIEL: (mid 40s: somewhat ageless, dressed for the weather) rushes down the cold, wet village street -- rain lashing down on his coat. He seems to be going somewhere. He seems to be in a hurry. SUDDENLY -- an otherworld horn stops him in his tracks. He looks up into the pouring rain -- watching the curtains of rain slowly becoming gracefully falling snow. He snaps to look at THE MOUNTAIN that looms over the idyllic village of AVERY. Father Daniel Was that you? The otherworldly horn sounds again. It sounds different -- as if it's responding. FATHER DANIEL No, I thought not. Must be her again. (beat) I'll see to it. Father Daniel hurries off down the street. Cut to: Ext. JANET'S HOUSE - LATER FATHER DANIEL approaches the small cottage on the edge of town. A large group of people stand silently outside the house -- the front door open. Father Daniel hurriedly pushes through them towards the door. They don't notice him and he doesn't care for them. Int. JANET'S HOUSE, HALLWAY- CONTINUOUS FATHER DANIEL stops to look around the people crowding the entire house.

WRATH OF MAN x LADY VENGEANCE thriller about infiltrating a doomsday cult.
EXT. SUBURBAN NEIGHBOURHOOD - AFTERNOON - THREE YEARS EARLIER THROUGH A DREAMY HAZE MARY: a young, brown haired woman -- holds her PHONE to take a photo of a YOUNG BOY running around the front garden of a 'white picket fence' suburban house. Mary looks around and see MARY'S MOM and MARY'S DAD: both in their 70s, fit and healthy. The Young Boy runs over to Mary's Father -- jumping into his arms. Mary's Mom smiles at her. Mary turns to see two vans pull up and their doors open -- PARAMILITARY TROOPS swarm out. Mary's Mom and Mary's Dad are gunned down. She is then shot twice in the chest. One troop stands over her -- they're tall with their face in shadow. They says something inaudible. They points their gun at Mary -- her breathing gurgling. MARY I... The troop lowers their gun. MARY (CONT'D) ...will... kill... you... They walk back to the vans. Mary watches as the vans drive away. She goes completely limp -- looking up towards the sky. Her vision distorts and fades. CUT TO:
