Ok I'll cede that when you wrote "Graham" you might have been referencing the Senator from SC.

You still did it with the Nazi lover insult.

Maybe when there are two people under discussion with the same name, make sure to be clear which one you are referencing?

Strawman: mischaracterising someone's view to make it easier to attack.

You implied I didn't think it was a Nazi tattoo.

Reality: I know it's a Nazi tattoo. In fact it's worse. It's the SS Totenkopf worn by the guards at Auschwitz.

Something I've been pointing out to others for weeks.
November 5, 2025 at 3:28 AM
Yeah really I like Nazis.....

And we all should be careful not to ascribe to others our own views.

I've seen plenty of Mainers say he can't beat Mills let alone Collins.

What we do have is data, and the only poll conducted after the tattoo news broke isn't good for him.
November 5, 2025 at 2:11 AM
The only poll conducted after the controversies came to light - from SoCal - shows his support dropped significantly over less than a week.

From 34% ahead of Mills in the UNH poll beforehand to -5% behind afterwards.

He drops even further to -30% when voters are informed of the tattoo.

Yes. See the transcript from his interview a few days ago with Breaking Point.

Not sure what it cost 25 years ago, but it's $12,500 pa for a day student now.

He was Warren's senior advisor according to the Portland Press Herald.

I don't think many people can call someone who held a postion like that a best friend.

Until recently I ignored Threads after a brief look at launch.

But it's now buzzing.

It's now larger than X/twitter, regularly beating it in daily users after doing so for the first time in September.

Threads: 128m
X: 126m
Bluesky: 1.5m
Truth Social: 0.5m

Something to keep in mind:

Roughly 0.5% of Americans made donations over $200 in 2016, a presidential year.

Those that do typically donate less than 1%.

Platners father's average donations of $4,600 per year puts him well into the 0.1% of Americans who donate over $2700.

Here is his campaign's first post on X.

"Working class Mainer".

He has now backpeddalled and calling himself "solidly middle class.

If you start your campaign with a lie, one so easily checked, what else is he willing to lie about?

He got free tution at John Bapst for his first year after he got kicked out of Hotchkiss his mother's first choice.

Sullivans school then had its acredditation restored and he lost free tution.
November 4, 2025 at 3:10 AM
The chance that all the times he was exposed to the SS Totenkopf in film, tv, games an
& the internet - including in a Reddit thread he was active in about it, inc the "are we baddies meme" - he never realised it was on his chest is close to zero.

Eg. I'm sure he watched Inglourious bastards.

Anecdotes don't count in elections.

Did you tell him it's not just a bad tattoo, but the actual SS insignia worn by the guards at Auschwitz?

And it's been reported he knew as early as 2012 what it was?

The polls show a huge drop in his support in less than a week.
November 4, 2025 at 1:36 AM
So in this video he explains he got a year of free tuition at John Baptist, but never mentions getting help for his time at the much more expensive Hotchkiss where his mother actually wanted hin to go?

Only ones in Maine, and only if your hometown doesn't have an accredited HS.

His local school lost its accreditation for one year. His parents had to pay the rest.

My pinned post there after logging back on after a break and seeing the state of it:

Yeah you can request a refund from Act Blue of any donation for pretty much any reason.
November 3, 2025 at 6:37 AM
Thanks, I haven't dug deep into US electoral finances before.

I'm about to go through the spreadsheet file in detail now. I was just eyeballing it for that post.

There is quite a few amounts less than $200 listed though?

I think you need to brush up on your history a litte here.

Mussolini's Socialist origins is well known.
November 1, 2025 at 6:33 PM
Has someone made an account for Peterson's suits?

I know he's ill with some fake mould thing (cough long covid), but there's so much material already out there...

Even some Auspol related ones.
November 1, 2025 at 7:21 AM
Now this is style!
November 1, 2025 at 7:15 AM
Polling suggests the opposite.

Anecdotal evidence is useful, but shoudn't be used to dismiss empirical evidence.

Lates poll shows Platner's support cratering.

SoCal poll is the latest and was in the field from the 20-25th.

SS tattoo news broke on the 20th.
