We haven’t spoken since. Which I still feel sad about. There were messages before I blocked her. I tried to talk to her about it, hoping I could make her see how hateful her posts had become. But that opened the gates to her DMing me the “evidence” for her views. It just got too much.

I had to do it to a relative who had gone down the conspiracy rabbit hole to the point her feed was filled with the vilest racism. It was hard, but I sent her a message telling her why. It didn’t feel right cutting that connection without explanation.
