challenge is taking society back from this hellscape brink, and I don't have any answers. I'm old enough that all the systems I have known or could imagine have failed. And hoping for elections to prevail feels naïve.

I dream of MAGA's implosion, but worry it will "fall of Rome" the country.

Great article! Working in higher ed, lots of young adults, I see them all glued to their phones all day long! Capitalism is indeed the culprit, and inadvertently, parents who, being beholden to capitalism, don't have the time/resource to help kids touch grass!

I feel that's my brain and my body telling me to let it go.

Second time this has happened in the past decade. Younger me would've protested, but me now is all "too tired, less worry please."

Maybe that's wisdom, maybe it's maybe-line.
