First and foremost, biodiversity: Frogs; Snakes; Bees but the wild kinds; Birds but not a birder. Occasional politics, of the woke, pro-Rejoin kind. Si j'avais le choix, je serais à Toulouse. SW London. Crepuscular.
While the conductor was giving directions before the performance for what to do in the event of fire, you could see everyone thinking they knew exactly where the fuel would be...

The light grey one at the back was playing at least 3 instruments in my son's orchestra last night...

Yes, i occasionally hear them in the garden too but have never seen one here.

Very nice. And yes, a walk would be great. Let me know when would suit.

Fabulous. Any day with a tawny owl in it is a good day.

I'm sitting in the garden and someone nearby fired a rocket into the tree above my head and displaced a woodpigeon that was roosting there. And maybe the redwings i had heard too.

Which xega did you go for? I thought you were let down by one before?

They are so good. Ours is on dwarfing rootstock but still went the whole of September without buying apples. And some of October. Most pollinated by Hairy-footed flower bees.

Weirdly, I get most of the posts from people i follow on the discover feed, not the following feed...

Yes it is Amistad. I also have Salvia Hot Lips still in flower. Amistad is an odd one, happily flowers into Nov and even Dec if mild but will kick the bucket fairly easily in a frost so best to protect.

Fair enough. Just hope one of them holds the balance of power in 2029.

It breaks my heart. My languages degree, as a culmination of a lifetime of learning to that point, has completely and utterly defined who I feel i am now. Make it make sense.

Oh nice. The carders have gone down here in sunny SW London but I have a queen buff tail and a worker coming to the salvia daily.

Yes, and i worry that neither @eddavey.libdems.org.uk nor @zackpolanski.bsky.social are up to the task. There is lots of "it's our aim to rejoin", full of holes, but it needs to be, "day 1, we reapply".
November 6, 2025 at 2:35 PM
I still feel exactly the same emotions that I did on the morning of 24 June 2016 and it continues to astonish me that so many continue just to shrug it all off. No one expects to be able to rejoin tomorrow, but we should start planning for the day after.

What's the story with the two abstentions?
November 4, 2025 at 5:24 PM
Rejoin? Anything else is just cowardice.

Oh fabulous. I found these eggs in my allotment pond last year which could have been GCN but I've only ever seen smooth newts. But I'm rarely there after dark...

Thanks, I completely understand the lack of leftovers. I had to stop my daughter eating her mother's portion just now and that was an hour after the meal...I think i might sauté them.
