According to the reports, the protestors blocked students from entering or exiting the library. So I’ll stand by my use of finger quotes on “peaceful” even if there was no physical violence.

Because I don't agree that occupying the library, barring access and egress to students, and not dispersing when asked to do so by security is consistent with peaceful protest.
