The clubs in each case got huge fees for those players, some they had gambled on (Ekitike/Woltemande) and some that had been pretty underwhelming last season (Šeško/Simons). In previous years Wirtz would’ve moved to Bayern for a number far less than what Liverpool paid. I’m sure they’re happy…

I don’t think many people are going to mourn Bayern losing their ability to ruin and undermine competitiveness in the Bundesliga by hoarding all the best talent in the league.

We just don’t attack the box with enough conviction.
So many times there were deflections, half clearances that were set up nicely but we just don’t anticipate those chances or have enough bodies in and around the box to make something of them.

Feel we’re just a bit careless with the final action in attack. Need to start testing their goalkeeper a bit more in the second half.
