To be fair, I've always said the US needs to bring in better sandwich control. The size of those things! Officers would be much safer if the public were limited to a couple of slices of Hovis and a single slice of luncheon meat. 🥪

Cheers! I go with a paint by numbers, agrax earhshade wash, and then a layer over the white to brighten it up. I can't face highlighting big units like my Napoleonic ones. I think it holds up pretty well when they're in a big ol' bunch! 😃

These came out really nicely! Using a lot of tufts has been really effective to give the swamp feel. It's inspiring me to try! I need some to make the Dead Marshes... 🤔

You already picked up on the fact that cavalry aren't able to charge home on squares, which may have saved the French cavalry a bit of the drubbing they took! I'll be interested to see how that change affects future games... With close infantry support to worry the squares, that could be deadly!

Beautiful looking game there Alex! You've ALMOST tempted me into doing Napoleonics in another scale! 😁 Great to see you giving BP a go. I like it. As you say, it's pretty simple, but it does mean you can play a big game pretty quickly and (I think) with a fairly good Napoleonic feel as well.
