Three awkward potatoes wearing an old band T-shirt.
This week's metal album pick, Bresna - Krásno. Think Lamb of God meets Gojira as your base sauce, then added spices from prog metal, black metal, and a heavy handed dose of some post-metal atmospherics. This is a pretty tasty sophomore album from this Slovakian band.

This week's metal pick Patriarkh (formerly Batoushka) - Prophet Ilja well produced, well written black metal mixed with religious choir chants? Yes please! I'm sure this would be even more effective if I spoke polish, but then again I'm notoriously not a lyrics person to begin with.

This week's metal pick: Stick to Your Guns - Keep Planting Flowers. If for no other reason than it is a reminder of everything that was great about the heydey of bands like Killswitch Engage, All That Remains and Stick to Your Guns themselves.

It's a bizarre feeling not being able to scroll my Tik Tok feed as part of my morning cycle through the apps on my phone. Such a small part of my morning routine, but the emptiness left there is being felt. I don't like it.

There's a dance party on my desk this morning. Except Logan, he's in the corner being grumpy while R2 and Groot have fun. Ignore the bad cable management, I'm moving offices soon and IDGAF 😆

Ever listen to an album and wonder (not in a bad way) how long is this thing? You look and you're on the last song. That's when you know it's the perfect length and is going to wrap up right before it overstays it's welcome.
Now listening to Barsharsketh - Antinomian Asceticism and thought this.

This week's new metal pick: The Halo Effect - "March of the Unheard". Every member of this band was once a member of In Flames at some point including Jesper who played guitar on all of their best stuff and Dark Tranquility vocalist Mikael. These 2 had hands on a lot of my favorite melodeath albums!
